I’ve seen a good number of posts on other blogs and Instagram accounts about working out during a quarantine, but I haven’t seen a ton on immune boosting supplements that could help protect you during this whole thing.
It’s true that we don’t know a ton about this virus still however, there are a lot of supplements out there that have been proven time and time again to be effective for boosting your immune system.
If there was ever a time to take these supplements it would definitely be right now.
I’m going to give you my Coronavirus supplement stack and tell you exactly what I’m personally taking during all of this to keep myself going.
Due to my current profession, I am not able to stay home and will continue to be at work during all of this.
There’s a good chance I can come into contact with someone (or multiple people) infected while at work so I’m taking this seriously.
Hopefully you are able to avoid people, but I’m sure many of you are like me and do not have the luxury of being able to stay home during this time.
Since I have to be out and about, I’ve added some new supplements to my daily lineup to help my immune system stay strong.
Some of the supplements on this list I was already taking, but some are also brand new, and I’ve never discussed them before.
My disclaimer is that this is my personal choice for supplementation. I’m not promising it will work for you nor am I saying you should take any of it.
This is my well-researched opinion on which supplements are best for boosting my immune system at this time.
That being said, these are all highly rated supplements by top companies and I’ve taken most of them for a long time.
I trust them and they’ve worked well for me.
Pure Vitamin Club Multicap
A well-balanced vitamin and supplement regimen always starts with a quality multivitamin.
You want to make sure you give your body everything it needs right now to stay healthy.
This has been my go-to multivitamin for years.
It’s a high-quality vitamin free of artificial ingredients or fillers.
Vitamins are a good idea for most people because they fill nutritional gaps in our diet.
In terms of immunity—Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin E are well-known for their immune boosting benefits.
I take this vitamin year-round, but I’m making sure I don’t miss a single day with it right now.
Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Fish Oil
This is another supplement I’ve been using for years.
While fish oil isn’t usually talked about as an immune boosting supplement, recent research has found evidence that it may have immune enhancing properties.
Fish oil has been taken for centuries and was called the “gold of the ocean” by the Vikings back in the day due to its strength and energy benefits.

I’ve definitely been sick less since I started taking fish oil.
Not to mention I have more energy and just feel healthier overall.
I love Nordic Naturals because they use high-quality fish oil that’s third party tested and distilled to remove toxins and impurities.
You need to be very careful when choosing a fish oil supplement as they are not all created equal.
There are a lot of companies out there that use inferior fish oil which may be harmful to your health so be careful!
This is definitely one supplement you don’t want to go cheap on.
Legion Immunity
This is a new supplement from Legion Athletics that came out around the beginning of this mess.
I’ve been taking it for about two weeks and its relieved a lot of mental stress for me.
This supplement contains powerful ingredients like aged garlic, Zinc, Vitamin C and American Ginseng to help kick your immune system into overdrive.
“It’s a 100% natural immune support supplement that improves the immune system’s ability to find and eliminate pathogens, impairs the function of harmful bacteria and viruses, and enhances mood and well-being when sick.” – Legion Athletics
I’ve been feeling really healthy since I started taking this and I’m so happy they came out with this right in time.
One of the main reasons I bought it is because its packed with Vitamin C. It provides 560 % of your daily value.
It’s very hard to find Vitamin C anywhere right now as you probably know so that was a big benefit for me.
Zinc is another mineral in this supplement that’s getting a lot of attention right now and something I’m loading up on.
There has been a lot of talk about Zinc being effective against the Coronavirus. It’s not proven, but it has helped with other viruses in the past and thought to be helpful with this one.
At this point, just hearing it may help is enough.
I don’t need to wait for the FDA to run it through years of trials before I’ll take it—especially since it’s an essential mineral.
Test PM
A testosterone booster might not seem like an obvious choice for an immunity supplement but hear me out.
Test PM is more than just a testosterone booster. It’s a few supplements in one, including a sleep aid.
ZMA is an abbreviation for Zinc Magnesium and Vitamin B6. It’s a popular supplement that’s usually taken by athletes and bodybuilders.
This supplement contains all of them.
As I talked about above, all three of these have immune boosting properties and might be effective against this virus.
Test PM also contains the ancient medicinal herb Ashwagandha. It’s been found to have a ton of benefits and help with lowering stress.
It’s hard to keep your immune system strong when your burdened with stress.
This supplement is designed to also boost testosterone which surely won’t hurt my immune system.
Finally, this supplement is a sleep aid which a big reason I purchased it.
Sleep is very important for keeping your immune system in fighting shape.

Poor sleep will leave your body and immune system run down.
Most people sleep like garbage and don’t even realize it until they start sleeping well.
It’s only been a few days, but I’ve been sleeping like a rock with this stuff.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) has been popular for a long time and carries a ton of weight in testimonials from people who have used it to fix some serious issues.
Just a few of the conditions apple cider vinegar has been known to help with are digestion, anxiety, blood pressure, diabetes, weight loss and skin health.
Just check out a few testimonials by people who swear by this stuff and you’ll see how many conditions it’s reported to help with.
I remember my grandmother telling me that it was a big deal back in the 1970s and it doesn’t seem like the fuss over it has stopped since.
As long as I’ve been alive, I’ve seen ACV have a prominent position in health and grocery stores.
I’ve taken it on and off for years, but I am trying to take it daily during this whole thing.
Luckily, I haven’t had any health issues that needed to be cured with apple cider vinegar, but I have found it helpful with digestion.

I’ve also consumed large amounts of it during the last few serious colds I had, and I swear to it helped me to recover far faster than I usually do.
The power in ACV appears to lie in its fermentation process which allows the vinegar to retain many of the nutritional benefits of apples that would usually be eliminated during pasteurization.
It doesn’t taste great, but it gets the job done.
The gold standard brand for apple cider vinegar is Bragg’s. That’s the only one I’ll use.
If you do use another brand, make sure its “with the mother”, meaning it’s not pasteurized and contains all the beneficial bacteria.
Zinc
This is last on the list because I’m not actually taking it on its own like this.
Since I have Zinc in two other supplements, I don’t feel like I need to supplement further with it but if I did, I would have already bought this one.
Zinc is a trace element that’s needed for a healthy immune system.
It’s well-known for its ability to fight colds and viruses.
I honestly did not realize how important it was until I started doing some research on it a few weeks ago after I heard it could be effective against Coronavirus.
This is one supplement I’ll be paying close attention to over the next few months.
A balanced approach
I’m trying to take a balanced approach with this whole thing, and I think my supplement stack accomplishes that.
I have a good variety of vitamins, supplements and herbs in this stack that are known for improving the immune system.
Many of which have been used successfully for centuries.
Who knows how long this will last, but I’ll keep taking all of this as long as it does.
I’m hoping that it ends as soon as possible so we can all get back to normal life and back to the gym.
Stay pumped AND healthy,
Dan
P.S. Has your supplement stack changed at all during the Coronavirus outbreak? I’d love to hear your answers, questions or comments below!
Man I really appreciate people actually doing something to help at these times. Thank you for sharing such valuable information. People need to be pro-active in protecting their immune system instead of submitting to the extreme fear that could affect their immune system negatively. Well done for this timely post.
You’re welcome Mo! They certainly do. Hopefully this motivates a lot of people to be more proactive with their health after this has settled down. Well said! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your comment!
Hi, I read your post. First I hope you are well. Thanks for the great suggestions you’ve listed. I don’t take many supplements right now, but am anxious to start taking some to improve my immunity with this whole thing going on. This came at the perfect time for me. Thank you!
You’re very welcome! Thanks for your comment and thanks for stopping by.
That is a well-rounded supplement’s list, all with important qualities for boosting the immune. I don’t take a lot of supplements, I tend to eat a reasonably balanced diet and get most of my nutrients there. Though with all the added stimulants we face each day, ‘Test PM’ sounds interesting. Properties for reducing stress and aiding sleep go a long way these days.
Thanks Johan! I’m taking quite a few right now clearly LOL but will probably cut one or two of these out as things improve here. We’ll see. I’m loving Test PM right now to be honest. First time really using a test booster and it’s been a huge help for sleep as I commented in the post. Hope it keeps working well. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Good to see a personal review which focuses as much on the manufacturer and ingredient quality as it does on the supplements itself. Keep up the good work Dan.
Thanks David! The ingredients and manufacturing are very important to me when it comes to supplements. Something I pay very close attention to. Thanks for your comment and thanks for stopping by!
Really informational Dan, thank you for sharing this. I usually take a multivitamin, D3, fish oil, and some others but I also included Vitamin C to this regimen. You’re spot on when you say it can’t hurt to be over cautious, especially if you don’t have the luxury of working from home and need to be out in the public. I’ve heard about Apple Cider Vinegar having some health benefits, but I’ve only cooked with it a few times. Do you just drink it straight, or is there a way to prepare it so it doesn’t taste as bad? Thanks for sharing your knowledge, keep up the great work!
Thank you Dereck! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I mix ACV with about a cup of water. It’s still pretty sour but I just chug it down LOL. There’s a recipe I’ve seen by Bragg which is honey, water and ACV. Sounds easier to drink for me, but I’ve never tried it. There’s a few other recipes out there and I believe they even have a recipe book somewhere they put out. If you just drink it quick you barely notice it. Sort of HAHA. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your comment!
Zinc is the best mineral of them all – it is used in a multitude of beneficial functions in the human body, and the immune system is one of its main focal points.
Defintely one thing I’ll be paying close attention to in the future Simon. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your comment!
